Back from debbie's house and into my own. had ALOT of fun. here's what happened.
SUNDAY:
i reached debbie's house around ten at night. grace and jing were already there. we watched this movie called 'View From The Top'. its super nice la! jing kept saying she liked the mean lady's hair, haha. stupid grace kept hogging the chips and debbie kept hogging the nuts. and after the movie ended,
okay, we then went upstairs to where we were gonna sleep. above is a picture of debbie and jing who were trying to take a picture of themselves! debbie looks odd from this angle. (: we were so prepared to chat the night through but in the end, grace and i dozed off. according to jing and debbie, we fell asleep at 3.30am and they made a lot of noise but we slept on. how professional are we, man.
MONDAY:
we woke up around ten cos grace had to leave soon. her sister was going overseas and she had to spend the day with her -how sweet. we washed up while grace packed up. we then sent and waited with grace for her bus before we went back in. we had lunch in debbie's mom's room :X while watching 'Miss Congenality (however you spell it) Two'. its totally awesome. we also watched 'Shallow Hal'. its a definite MUST WATCH although some parts are rather disgusting and disturbing la. the movie's bottom line is to look at one's inner beauty and not outer beauty or something like that. oh yes, abigail arrived when we were watching it. we then chatted, watched debbie play pangya, watched a bit of ouran high school and bathed to get ready to go to the esplanade for the concert. jing's mom fetched us there.
this picture was taken at the Esplanade. its made of wires entwined together to form a human shape. there was practically a whole collection of it but i only took a picture if this one. anyway, we were supposed to meet shinny and maria there. shinny came on time but stupid(: maria was late. so we left her ticket at the counter and smsed her to get it there.
this is what the inside of the concert hall looks like. by the way, i got scolded for taking this picture. ): the name if the concert is 'Three'. there were three choirs performing -the SYC Ensemble Singers from Singapore conducted by Jennifer Tham, the Ateneo Chamber Singers from the Philippines conducted by Jonathan Velasco and the Gaia Philharmonic Choir from Japan conducted by Ko Matsushita. heh, debbie has a little crush him. okay, i admit that Ko Matsushita is cute but im not obsessed with him like you are, debbie. for heaven's sake, he's 44. back to what i was saying, the choirs were all totally great. if we were EVER compared to them, we suck (no offence).
this was taken in Mrs Fields after the concert. each of us bought a cookie. i got the ChocolateFudgeChewyCookie! it was delicious. oh and i took this because the guy thinks he's a dinosaur. if you were me, wouldn't you take it too? that is abigail's hand by the way. (:
okay, this shop is WICKED. and again, i got scolded for taking this picture. ): but whatever. in this shop, you can custom make your very own bear. aren't they all just adorable? however, its like super expensive la. so yeah.
there weren't any shops open except for those two so we ended up outside, waiting for debbie's mom to pick us up. this is actually water with balls 'floating' on it. there's also this see-through thing where you can see the carpark below!

and last but not least, the ESPLANADE! how pretty. while waiting, we were so bored we started singing 'I Feel Pretty' and 'Tjak'. everyone was like staring and then (thank god) debbie's mom arrived. however when we got into the car, we started singing again. i think debbie's mom and sister were kinda irritated with our singing but we didn't stop, haha! we then dropped shinny at an MRT station and went back to debbie's. we went upstairs and started playing truth or dare. learnt more about each other -heh. and then debbie and i dozed off. its not our fault, okay. stupid jing and maria were talking about people in THEIR class and we didn't inderstand a single thing. so yeah. fell asleep at 2.30am.
TUESDAY:
no pictures for this day, sorry, didn't have enough time to take any. woke up around eleven (we slept so much la!). we laid in bed, chatted and got up at twelve to wash up. we had lunch -prata! then we changed into our school uniform and jing's mom fetched us to school for choir.
we started with warm ups. all of a sudden, i felt super dizzy and louisa told me to sit at the back for a while. they sang the first part of 'Everyone Sang'. then i felt much better and decided to join them. we went upstairs for sectionals to learn the rest of the song. we learnt it, then we went back down to combine the whole song. Sop1s did rather okay, i suppose. later, we did all the songs for the CCA FAIR. our clapping for La Cucaracha improved a lot. but now the problem is that we can't remember the words for the song. well, the other songs were quite nice except when we go SHARP or FLAT. that is what we must work on. overall i think choir today was kinda fun. (:
I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE MORE SLEEPOVERS!
